Privacy policy

What we collect
Roadroom stores device preferences locally and uses Firebase to store your email, account identifier, driver name, reports, Road Bucks, transaction history and truck collection. Hidden-driver preferences and issue reports are kept privately for app safety and moderation. Passwords are managed by Firebase Authentication, not kept in Roadroom profile records.
Location and your public profile
We request location when you choose to find nearby parking or contributors, submit a report, or thank a driver at a stop. Reports include the parking location and update time. Your truck, Road Bucks and contribution counts can be public. We do not display your live location on your public profile or track you in the background.
Services that help run the app
Map tiles use OpenStreetMap; place searches use Photon. These services receive requests, your IP address, map area or search terms. Google provides authentication, storage, hosting and app integrity checks through Firebase and reCAPTCHA Enterprise. These services process IP addresses, browser/device information, security identifiers, interaction signals and operational diagnostic data to authenticate accounts, prevent abuse and keep the app running. Map and search providers can retain request logs, including map areas or search terms, for service operations. Roadroom does not maintain a separate account search-history list. Roadroom does not use advertising networks or sell your information.
One quiet suggestion
I also make weheartpaperwork. Its suggestion appears in Settings. There are no third-party ads, and signing up does not subscribe you to promotional email.
Deletion
Use Settings → Delete profile, or the web deletion page. Deletion removes your account, reports, truck collection, wallet and saved preferences. References to your identity in other drivers’ thank-you histories are removed; their earned balances remain. Community parking locations may remain in the directory without your account identity after your reports are deleted. Cloud deletion is retried if interrupted. A deletion guard containing the account identifier remains for approximately two to three hours after completion to reject in-flight requests, then is removed. App records remain until you delete your account; old reports disappear from the map after 24 hours. Service logs and backups have separate retention: Firebase Authentication retains logged IP addresses for a few weeks, Firebase Hosting retains IP data for a few months, and deleted authentication data can take up to 180 days to be removed from Google's backup systems. Security, map and search request logs follow the providers' retention policies. These records are not public parking reports. See Firebase privacy information and OpenStreetMap Foundation privacy information.
